Our History

Haley’s Flooring and Interiors, Inc., formerly Carpet Systems of Huntsville, was founded by Carter and Nancy Haley in October of 1988. Carpet Systems began in a small office off Drake Avenue, focusing on commercial flooring work for local businesses in the Huntsville area.

Alongside Carter and Nancy, their oldest son Chris joined the effort early on. Within two years, the business expanded into the retail market, moved to a small storefront, and began serving the public with residential flooring and installation services.

As our family business continued to grow, so did the need for more employees and a larger facility. Michael, the youngest son, joined the team during this transition, and the company eventually relocated to its current location on Bob Wallace Avenue.

With increased space and demand, Haley’s expanded its offerings beyond flooring to include cabinets, granite, and quartz countertops, offering in-house fabrication and design services. This has enabled the company to become a one-stop solution for homeowners, builders, and businesses across North Alabama.

In January 2020, Carter and Nancy officially retired, passing leadership to the next generation.

Michael Haley now serves as CEO, alongside longtime partner Adam Rogers as COO. Under their direction, Haley’s Flooring and Interiors continues to thrive as a team of over 80 employees, dedicated to providing high-quality flooring, cabinets, countertops, and design services throughout the region.

In 2025, Haley’s entered an exciting new chapter, refining its focus on retail flooring, builder partnerships, and commercial sales. Though the company has evolved, our mission remains the same: to provide exceptional service, trusted expertise, and beautiful results for every home and business we touch.

What started in a small office with just a few employees has grown into one of North Alabama’s most trusted names in flooring and interiors, and we’re just getting started.
